Calculation Formula

Daily Fluid Volume:

3.5-10kg infants: 100ml/kg

11-20kg children: 1000ml + 50ml/kg (for weight over 10kg)

Over 20kg children: 1500ml + 20ml/kg (for weight over 20kg), maximum 2400ml/day

Fluid Rate:

Daily Fluid Volume / 24

Notes

When calculating fluid for children, pay attention to the different formulas for different weight ranges, with a maximum of 2400ml per day.
