Any of the above conditions indicate a high risk of serious adverse outcomes (including death, myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, pulmonary embolism, stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, severe bleeding, or any condition requiring emergency room visit and hospitalization) in syncope patients.
This score predicts serious adverse outcomes with a sensitivity of 96%, specificity of 62%, negative predictive value of 99.2%, and positive predictive value of 24.8%.
