1. Criteria for Diagnosis of Migraine without Aura

(1) Meets items 2-4 below, occurring at least 5 times. (2) Not treated or unsuccessfully treated, with each headache episode lasting 4-72 hours. (3) Headache has at least 2 of the following characteristics: ① unilateral; ② pulsating; ③ moderate or severe pain; ④ routine physical activity (such as walking or climbing stairs) aggravates the headache, or the headache causes the patient to avoid routine physical activity. (4) During the attack, at least 1 of the following occurs: ① nausea and/or vomiting; ② photophobia and phonophobia. (5) Not due to other diseases. |
2. Criteria for Diagnosis of Migraine with Aura

(1) Meets item 2 below, occurring at least 2 times. (2) The aura of migraine* meets the diagnostic criteria for any subtype from 1.2.1 to 1.2.6 in items 2-3. (3) Not due to other diseases. |
3. Criteria for Diagnosis of Chronic Migraine
|
(1) Headache meets items (3) and (4) of the criteria for migraine without aura, occurring more than 15 days per month for over 3 months. (2) Not due to other diseases. |
