Ideberg Classification of Glenoid Fractures

Type I: Anterior rim fracture
Type II: IIA: Transverse fracture through the glenoid fossa, fragment below
IIB: Oblique fracture through the glenoid fossa, fragment below
Type III: Oblique fracture through the glenoid fossa, fragment above, often with acromioclavicular joint injury
Type IV: Transverse fracture through the middle of the scapula
Type V: Combined Type II and Type IV injuries
Type VI: Severe comminuted fracture of the glenoid surface (GOSS)
