| Type I: Minimally displaced fractures of the radial head or neck | ① Limited forearm rotation (pronation/supination) due to pain or swelling. |
| ② Intra-articular fracture fragments displaced less than 2mm. | |
| Type II: Displaced fractures of the radial head or neck (displacement greater than 2mm) | ① Limited movement due to mechanical blockage or poor joint congruence. |
| ② Fracture is not severely comminuted and can be treated with open reduction and internal fixation. | |
| ③ Fracture involves more than the edge of the radial head. | |
| Type III: Severely comminuted fractures of the radial head or neck | ① Reconstruction of the radial head is not possible. |
| ② Radial head excision is required to restore elbow or forearm range of motion. | |
| Type IV: Comminuted fractures of the radial head with elbow dislocation. | |
