Neer Classification of Proximal Humerus Fractures

One-part fracture: Fractures of the upper end of the humerus, including several fractures, as long as they do not exceed the above-mentioned obvious displacement standards, indicating that the fracture site still has some soft tissue attachment and connection, maintaining a certain degree of stability. This type of fracture is a mildly displaced fracture and belongs to one-part fractures.
Two-part fracture: Refers to a main bone fragment with obvious displacement from the other three parts.
Three-part fracture: Refers to two bone fragments with obvious displacement from each other and from the other two parts.
Four-part fracture: Refers to the four main bone fragments of the upper end of the humerus having obvious displacement from each other, forming four separate bone fragments. At this time, the humeral head is in a free state and loses its blood supply.
