Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by disabling polyarthritis synovitis, with chronic, symmetrical, and destructive polyarthritis as the main clinical manifestations. The most commonly affected joints are the hands, wrists, knees, ankles, and feet.

The diagnosis of this disease is mainly based on medical history, clinical manifestations, combined with serological and imaging examinations.
