English Name: Residual Renal Function, RRF
Residual renal function refers to the remaining kidney function in patients with chronic renal failure at the end stage. Although these residual kidney functions are very limited (less than 10% of normal function), and even insufficient to sustain life, they still play a significant role in clearing toxins and excess water from the body, maintaining nutrition, and controlling blood pressure.
