Risk Factors
GRACE Score:

Interpretation of Results

Score Bleeding Risk Probability of Severe Bleeding within 90 Days
≤1.07 Low 0.9%
1.07~2.19 Medium 2.0%
≥2.19 High 5.4%

This bleeding risk assessment model is mainly used for elderly (>65 years) atrial fibrillation patients undergoing warfarin anticoagulation therapy to assess the risk of bleeding within 90 days. Bleeding events refer to hospitalizations due to gastrointestinal bleeding or intracranial hemorrhage.

The advantage of this model is that it considers the combined use of antiplatelet drugs.

The final score calculation formula is as follows:

Risk score = 0.49*Elderly + 0.32*Female + 0.58*No Recent Bleeding + 0.62*Recent Bleeding + 0.71*Alcohol/Drug Abuse + 0.27*Diabetes + 0.86*Anemia + 0.32*Antiplatelet Therapy

(When the risk factor is present, the weight is the corresponding value, otherwise it is 0)
