Applicable for Acute Rheumatic Fever

According to the Jones diagnostic criteria (Jones Criteria), the diagnosis of Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) requires evidence of a prior streptococcal infection and must meet either 2 major criteria or 1 major criterion and 2 minor criteria. (Exceptions are noted in the references.)
