| B = Blood pressure: Blood pressure ≥ 140/90 mmHg at the time of attack add 1 point |
| C = Clinical Features: Speech disturbance without weakness add 1 point, unilateral weakness add 2 points |
| D = Symptom Duration: 10 - 59 minutes add 1 point, more than 60 minutes add 2 points |
| D = Diabetes: Diabetes patients add 1 point |
| D = Recurrent: Second TIA attack within 7 days add 2 points |
| I = Imaging: Ipsilateral carotid artery stenosis > 49% add 2 points |
| I = Imaging: High signal on diffusion sequence at the time of attack add 2 points |
The ABCD³-I score is used to assess the risk of stroke occurrence after a transient ischemic attack (TIA).
