Result Interpretation

The Abbreviated Mental Test Score (AMTS) is used for the rapid assessment of the likelihood of dementia in elderly patients. It is commonly used to evaluate confusion and other cognitive impairments.

A score of 6 or below indicates possible delirium or dementia (further examination is needed).
