Grading Standards for Nerve Block Effectiveness

Grade Criteria
Grade I Complete block, patient is pain-free, calm, and has satisfactory muscle relaxation, providing good conditions for surgery.
Grade II Incomplete block, unsatisfactory muscle relaxation, patient shows signs of pain.
Grade III Incomplete block, significant pain, poor muscle relaxation, patient shows signs of groaning and agitation.
Condition improves somewhat with additional medication, but remains suboptimal, surgery barely completed.
Grade IV Anesthesia failure, requiring alternative anesthesia methods to complete the surgery.
