The FLIPI prognosis depends on five adverse prognostic factors (easily remembered as "NoLASH"): Number of affected lymph node areas, Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Age, Stage, Hemoglobin level. The Follicular Lymphoma International Prognostic Index (FLIPI) is the result of a large international collaborative study that collected clinical data from 4167 patients diagnosed with follicular lymphoma between 1985 and 1992.
This database analysis identified and validated five adverse prognostic indicators. This prognostic index scoring can distinctly separate the survival of patients into three risk groups.
