ASA Anesthesia Risk Classification Standard

Grade	Standard
I	Healthy, well-nourished, normal organ function
II	Mild systemic disease, well-compensated
III	Severe systemic disease, limited physical activity, but able to perform daily activities
IV	Severe systemic disease, unable to perform daily activities, constant threat to life
V	Moribund patient not expected to survive 24 hours with or without surgery
